Hello weekend! Anyone else peering over the edge of the end of this week like…. hello? Anyone there? It’s me… the girl who once had a life? Okay that’s a smidge dramatic, but this week has been a legit up hill battle. So here’s a spicy little outfit to up our drab moods! Fruit print… you’ve seen it here, and here, oh and here. Needless to say… it’s one of my things. It’s everywhere right now… but it’s been a thing here before it was “cool”. Obviously lemon print took over. (I’m not mad about it… hello… we love Lemons… our dog is Lemon… we get down with lemons). So now I’m trying to find new variations of how to rock this trend in a different way. Since last season of Project Runway I’ve been obsessed with banana print. Erin from that season is legit my spirit animal and she used it all the time. So this skirt was a necessity in life. It had to be mine. I mean a banana print skirt? Yes Please!

I’m all about color… that’s no secret, and I’m pretty sure that pink and yellow were just meant for eachother. It was a match made in heaven. One, who doesn’t love pink? Two, yellow is happy… happy people don’t kill their husbands. . . (if you don’t know where that came from… we can’t be friends). This tank is the best little thing ever. I have it in five colors…. so when I’m feeling lazy and “have nothing to wear” I can just throw one of those on with jeans and know I’m good to go… no fuss… no worries… no husband sitting in the car in the driveway threatening to leave without me. (lol… I know I’m not alone here guys… you know it’s happened to you a time or two… okay?)

So here’s to the weekend… here’s to husband coming home… here’s to not being a single dog parent, here’s to not stepping in poo in the morning when I’m already running late, here’s to remembering to buy coffee creamer at the store because this coffee I’m drinking right now is just so not right. . . Here’s to wearing this banana print skirt all weekend long. . .Here’s to us!

Get out there this weekend and do something fun… or stay in and nap… do what you want. I mean we are adults so we can right?
