Brow Boost + Lash Boost | Your New Beauty Dynamic Duo
Today I’m sharing an old to me and new to me product with you – Lash Boost from skincare brand, Rodan + Fields. I used Lash Boost 3 years ago to help nourish and improve the appearance of my lashes after a major mess up tearing off my lash extensions. I was literally left with no lashes – it was bad. Luckily, I discovered Lash Boost. After consistent use with the stuff in my nightly routine, I started to see that my lashes appeared thicker and fuller. I finally felt like myself again and I loved it. When they reached out about trying their new product, Brow Defining Boost, that uses the same technology as Lash Boost, I was so excited. Like a lot of us, the sparseness of my brows has been an issue for me since the thin brow era.
Some areas grew back well naturally on their own, but my inner brow has been my biggest issue. I do have my brows micro-bladed, but I am still bothered by how sparse they are in the front because there isn’t a lot of actual brow hair there. This is especially true with my right brow. So, when R+F reached out offering this option as a potential solution to my brow woes, I was eager to give it a try. Brow Defining Boost is basically a 2-in-1 brow serum that helps boost the appearance of your brow fullness and helps both instantly and overtime so you’re getting bang for your buck.
This is with application to only one brow side by side. What a huge difference. It’s formulated with Lash Boost Technology (I’ll share more about Lash Boost below) that along with those Cellulose Fibers and Castor Oil, helps amplify brows’ appearance of fullness and thickness instantly and overtime. I think my favorite part about this product is the Cellulose Fibers in the formula that immediately gives your brows a thicker, fuller appearance. The brow serum also has pigment to provide instant coverage to fill in sparse areas of the brow (like the inner part for me), as well as beeswax to control and tame more unruly brow hairs. The best part? It’s also water resistant and smudge free.
Literally just a couple swipes of this stuff and my brows look super full and fluffy just like I like them. It’s a super easy application that has fit into my AM routine easily. You simply dip the want into the tinted gel and make sure to wipe off any excess – you just wand the wand to be lightly coated. Then, like you would with any other brow serum, you use short, upward strokes to pick up your brow hair with the thicker part of the wand to build and add definition. With the precision tip (the very top), use small strokes to fill in any gaps or to focus on the tail. After using Brow Defining Boost for the past couple of months, I have also noticed my brows appear fuller, thicker and more defined. I do have to say, it’s super important to stick to using daily to really see the visible results. I have had to trim and shape more than ever before so I know this stuff is doing its job.
You’ll also see that this helps to shape and tame my brows too which is amazing. I love using Brow Defining Boost and mascara on no makeup days to wake up my face and give my skin a break. It’s just enough to feel polished and put together without feeling like I’m wearing heavy makeup. I use the shade Medium and it’s a great match for me and my skin tone. I would go light if your hair is any lighter than mine though or if you want to go with a more neutral brow. It also comes in four shades – light, medium, dark and black. The shades are really flexible so you can opt for a more natural look or a more bold brow. Grab some for yourself here.
Next up is Lash Boost. Like I said before, I used this stuff for lash rehab years ago and know it works. I’ve seen such an improvement in the appearance of my lashes – they look fuller, longer and darker. According to R+F, Lash Boost uses a proprietary formula and blend of ingredients designed to improve the appearance of lash length, thickness and volume – visibly enhancing natural-looking lashes. I apply it at night after I finish my skincare routine. Using the wand, you apply along the upper lash line of both eyes. Make sure to gently wipe off any excess on the brush before applying! When you start seeing results it’s easy to remember to use in your routine because you truly feel a confidence boost from seeing the results in the mirror. It makes you want to keep going. It’s also ophthalmologist tested..
My brows and lashes truly look better than they have in ages. My brows look fuller and more defined, and my lashes look longer and fuller with and without mascara. You can also note the difference in my brows – here as my left brow is without product and my right is with product applied.
You can grab Brow Defining Boost and Lash Boost directly through Rodan + Fields’ website. I’ll leave a link here for you. I truly think if you give these products some time of consistent use, you will fall in love with them just like I have.
