Traveling to the Smokey Mountains this Fall/Winter? This One’s for You!
Being from such a gorgeous place, I often take it for granted. Oh how I long for big city lights and the hustle and bustle, but East Tennessee is a beauty! People always think that Sevierville and Gatlinburg are all there is to offer, but there is so much more! Just about 20 minutes outside of Gatlinburg in Cosby, TN there’s the best little Apple Orchard. Carver’s Apple Orchard is a hidden gem in our area and doesn’t get nearly enough credit. It has a full orchard where you can do apple picking in the early fall, the best pumpkin selection in East Tennessee, and a restaurant that has some of the best apple fritters I’ve ever had in my life! I can’t recommend it enough, especially this time of year!
I recommend going early October! It kind of depends on the Season, but if you can get there the first week of October you are solid! Anything after the 10th and the selection will be picked over. I do not recommend going before the second week of September. It will be way too hot and you won’t feel like you’re celebrating the arrival of fall. It will just feel like summer with pumpkins. Get the apple fritters while you’re there or you will seriously be missing out!
Outfit Details:Â
Jacket/ Sweater (40% off!)/ Jeans (40% off!)/ Booties (Under $50 and also come in black!) / Hat/ Earrings/ Bag (similar here)/ Lip Color
I’ve been wearing this over-sized denim jacket on repeat. It was an under $40 find and is the perfect take on the over-sized denim trend I’ve been seeing everywhere. I’m a 50/50 classic to edgy gal… so you won’t find me in a full on denim jacket dress which rips all over. This is a happy medium for me. I sized up to make it fit more oversized so I can do sweaters under all winter long. This sweater was the perfect layering piece. It’s also under $40 and is long enough to wear with leggings! I wear this hat almost every day… especially now that I’ve gotten down to 1x per week for washing my hair. (Yes I said 1x per week! More on that later…)
Have you been to the Smokey Mountains? If not, Get on that ASAP! While you’re there make sure to head to Carver’s Apple Orchard (more details here)Â and tell me how you liked it! IÂ hope you love it as much as I do!
