Summer Frizz! That’s who! No matter what texture of hair you have, summer frizz is your arch nemesis this time of year! For me, my hair loses volume and my roots start to show every single baby hair on my head. Not cute… not cute AT ALL!
So what’s a girl to do? Products help, sure… but really you need something in your heat styling regimen to help smooth out each strand and clean things up.

Another little nugget of info is that it uses ceramic technology to help eliminate damaging hot spots by evenly distributing heat. It literally takes no time to heat up and is perfect for quick touch ups or changing up your style throughout the day.
How to use it:
As you can see, I used this gem, the Conair Smoothing Brush, to switch from a braid to leaving my hair down. We were on the go the entire time we were in Florida this past weekend and of course shooting lots of content. So I didn’t want my hair in the same style the whole time of course. We ran up to the room for a quick change and I was able to go from crazy waves after I took the braids out to straight, smooth hair in minutes. Crazy!
What I love most is that the brush feels more natural in your hand and is easier to use. It also doesn’t leave those kinks in your hair at the starting point like a traditional flat iron would. Total win! You simple brush through your hair with your standard brush first, apply a heat protectant, and then get to work. Start at the root and work your way through.
*Pro tip: start to curve the brush toward the ends of your hair to get a slight turned unter affect. This will give your ends a smooth, clean finish when it all lays together post styling. *
Finish with a light mist of hair spray and you’re good to go! Easy, summer hair in a flash!
