The FabFitFun Summer Box, is it worth it?

I have personally purchased the FabFitFun box on my own for years and I’m so excited to be partnering with them today to review the Summer 2021 box.

I totally understand that subscription services have a bad wrap sometimes, but FabFitFun is one of the few I continue to keep for many reasons and I’m going to share those with you today. Please note, this box is customizable based on your preferences. You will receive an email asking you to choose from options 5 times in different categories from fashion, beauty, home, and travel. Most of the options for selection 1-3 are $75+ MSRP and the following around $50-$25 MSRP. These products are all full size. Talk about value here. You can also sign up as a seasonal or annual member as well.

Reasons I love FabFitFun:

Value: One Product in the Box alone at MSRP is worth as much, if not more than the subscription itself.

Trying New Products: I have often gotten new products to review on my blog and social channels from my boxes. It keeps new, fresh things coming in and often I find a holy grail product from what was included in my boxes.

A Little Gift for Myself: My FabFitFun boxes feel like a little present that comes in the mail every three months. I also think this would be an amazing gift for someone else. My Nana used to subscribe to magazines for me every year and this is way better. For Moms, daughters, siblings, long distance friends… this is a very thoughtful and unique gift in my opinion.

Now let’s get into a breakdown of this years FabFitFun Summer box.

What’s in the Box this Summer?

There is so much packed into the box for this season and I was beyond excited when choosing my selections. From beauty to home, this box covers all the bases.

I appreciate how much attention to detail is always taken when piecing these together. I was even able to make my OCD dreams come true and stick to a color palette. Green was obviously a theme here.

Summersalt Tote:

This tote is the coolest scuba material and perfect for the beach or pool. I love the contrasting colors and the stripe handle is a nice detail as well. This is a bag that could be used as a purse if it matches your style, travel for all your essentials for a road trip or flight, or for the beach/pool for your sunscreen, sunnies, and towel.

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Cleanser:

I love Dr. Brandt and have tried some of the other products from this line, but not the cleanser so I’m excited to try. this is supposed to be so good for oily/combo skin which is 100% me.

Ciate Watermelon Burst Setting Spray:

I was fresh out of setting spray so this is warmly welcomed. I also happen to live for anything watermelon scented. This also has niacinimide so it is perfect for creating beautiful, natural makeup looks for the summer that have stay power. This is also cruelty free which is a major win!

SuperGoop Unseen Sunscreen:

I have tried SuperGoop before, but not this particular product. I’m so excited to add this into my Summer skincare routine because it doesn’t create a white cast on your skin like other ones do. SPF 40 and also cruelty free.

Seraphine Fruit Butter Lip Mask:

I have been wanting to try a new lip mask at night since I’ve been using the same one for over 4 years. This one is nicely scented and super hydrating. I’ll report back when I’ve been using long enough to judge, but so far I’m loving it. Bonus points for this being cruelty free!

Milly Travel Jewelry Case:

I have been needing a travel case for jewelry for ages. This one from Milly is so cute. I love the pattern and that it has a mirror. This is going to come in clutch on shoot days for keeping track of my jewelry since that’s often where I lose things.

Citrus Juicer:

These are essential for margaritas and other citrus drinks for the Summer. I have one for lemons, but this one is a little smaller and perfect for limes (hello margarita season). I can’t wait to put this to use.

Pineapple Shaped Ice Mold from Blush:

This is going to be so fun to have for Summer drinks. I love making cute cocktails and cocktails in the evening during the Summer and cute ice cubes definitely make that more fun.

Recap:

I truly love FabFitFun. I have tried so many subscription boxes over the years and never felt like I got my moneys worth. With this I never open it feeling disappointed. I’ve been able to discover new products, have new things to share with my audience, and treat myself every few months in the best way. I often forget it’s coming and when the box shows up on the front porch it always brighten my day.
