In a holiday funk? It’s so easy to do that. So, today I’m so excited to be teaming up with my friends at Master of Mixes to share three essential mixers for your holiday survival kit.

Three Must-Haves for the Holiday Season

My favorite go-to’s for the holiday are margaritas. I know that may seem more like a summer drink, but I think it works all year long. Different strokes, right? So I wanted to share three of the most prevalent drink mixes you should keep on hand always, but especially this time of year.

Sweet and Sour mix:

A must have for so many drinks. Luke loves a good whiskey sour and so does his Dad. So this one always comes in handy for us. Get yours here.

Margarita:

An obvious choice. I use this one to make cranberry margaritas this time of year. Recipe will be listed at bottom of post. So good and festive, but with a holiday twist. You can use this for any margarita though. Get yours here.

Strawberry:

Another great option to have on hand. For your kiddos you can make really fun mock-tails with this. As always a strawberry margarita or daiquiri is a year round staple as well. Get yours here.

Cranberry Holiday Margarita

Ingredients:

Cranberry Juice (not from concentrate)

Master of Mixes Margarita Mix

Orange Juice

Limes

Tequila of choice

Steps:

Salt your rim

Squeeze half lime into shaker glass

Add tequila (2 oz)

Add 3 oz orange juice

add 3 oz cranberry juice

add 2 oz margarita mix

Shake well, add to glass, top with lime or orange garnish!

So there you have it! Your holiday survival kit. No matter who is or isn’t coming over this year you will be stocked up for whatever concoction your heart desires. Pro tip, make a charcuterie board. It looks like you did a lot of work, but really you just cut up some cheese and scattered some things on a tray.
