I have to be honest with ya’ll, black is a new thing for me. Not 100% new, but in the past I would have chosen black last. I would have picked this dress in whatever print or color it comes in. So this little black pretty is a step out of the box for me. I love the look of an LBD on other girls and wanted to find a way to make it work for me. The Rebecca Minkoff Dylan Dress is a true stunner! I found it for ya’ll on sale! Such a great staple for any event and date night!
The flowy sleeve and drop waist gave it more of a boho feel. I also opted for a neutral bootie rather than a black heel to keep it more my style. I’ve already shared this over on IG and everyone really loved it. I think pairing it with some unexpected pieces really brought it all together.
We took these photos in front of the cutest place that you have to check out if you are in Asheville. It’s a champagne and jazz bar and a book store! So so cool! It’s called the Battery Park Book Exchange. Books from floor to ceiling and seating throughout. It was one of the coolest places I’ve ever been. I love how Asheville can make you feel like you’re in NYC minus the traffic and taxis. It’s such a great city! Make sure to check this place out the next time you’re there!

You can see some other date night look ideas here, here, and here. We really try to focus on having one date night a week. Hoping that resumes once we are done with this move. One more week ya’ll and we should be done… with the moving part. Decorating is proving to be A LOT! So for now we are focused on common areas and then branching out room by room. That’s the only way I know to keep my sanity.
